The PVML B Teams Tournament Schedule is posted! Congratulations to our Girls B Team, for winning the coin toss breaking the tie for #1 seed! Our Girls play at 9:30 CDS vs Wagner. Our Boys B Team did well, earning the #3 seed. Boys play at 2:00 CDS vs Orono. All Tournament games on Saturday, February 4 will be held at Glenburn School.
Tournament Admissions are $3 students, $4 adults, $10 family.

We wish our Competition Cheer Team GOOD LUCK, as they participate in the Doughty Cheering Invitational, held at Bangor High School. The event begins at 5:30 (doors open to spectators at 3:30).

Basketball games for tonight include some CHANGES that were mentioned in the last post. As a reminder, B Team games are canceled, due to lack of officials. Tonight Center Drive School hosts Wagner A Teams. Girls A CDS home vs Wagner at 3:30. Boys A CDS home vs Wagner at 4:45.
It is also 8th grade recognition for Girls Basketball and Cheerleaders, as this is their last home game of the regular season (8th grade boys have already had their recognition).

Center Drive School is proud to host Dedham School for a couple of basketball scrimmages tonight! CDS Girls A Team home vs Dedham at 3:30. CDS Boys B Team home vs Dedham at 4:45. The games are only Girls A and Boys B.
There is no Concession Stand tonight, so go ahead and pack your snacks and come on out to support two AOS47 schools!
There is NO Concert Band before school today, January 26.
AOS 47 the Airline, Dedham and Orrington School Departments: All schools have a 2 hour delay today due to the inclement weather and subsequent cleanup. All opening school functions will begin 2 hours later than our normally scheduled times. There will no NO morning Pre-K.

Girls Basketball Announcement: Wednesday's (1/25) game against Lewis Libby has been canceled (Girls' teams only). Unfortunately, there is no room in our schedule to make up the B team game before playoffs. The Girls A Team game, CDS @ Lewis Libby, has been rescheduled for Monday, February 6 at 3:30.
* CDS will still host the Boys' games, CDS home vs Lewis Libby, on January 25.
We have exciting news to share! Back in September our school committee approved the hiring of an SRO (Student Resource Officer) for Center Drive. Today was our first day with Deputy Dan Davis. Dan was a former Orrington resident and student at Center Drive many years ago. If your child comes home talking about a police officer spending lots of time in our school you will know why!
